Robin Eveの尺八とRon Masonのギターによるジャズは、長年にわたって神戸の地で好評を博している。Robin Eveは、尺八の様々な音楽に使うことを探求すると同時に、一流の歌手でもある。二人はクインテット"Take Five"や今日のデュオの形で演奏活動を行っている。レパートリーはスタンダードジャズからビートルズまで幅広い。また尺八によるブルースやボサノバは特筆に値する。

Robin Eve and Ron Mason have been playing jazz on shakuhachi and guitar for a number of years in Kobe and the local region. As well as exploring the different ways a shakuhachi can be used musically, Robin Eve is also an accomplished singer. They sometimes appear with a larger group as Take Five, and sometimes like to play to small audiences as a duo. The music ranges between jazz standards and Beatles' songs. The shakuhachi is especially suited for blues and bossa-nova.
